QB Product Importer Keeps Failing

I have tried numerous times to import a csv file, I have only a couple of tabs open, my PC has lots of RAM (32GB), lots of HDD, but I have tried repeatedly to import 266 products (54kb file size) and I just get the below message every time.

Why? other sites work with much larger files with no problems, yet QB fails repeatedly.

The file config is correct, so its not that.

Hello Richard👋, Thanks for getting in touch about your import concerns.  Can we ask if you can open Quickbooks in a private/incognito window and try and import the file again. If you do get the same message can you highlight all the columns and rows with data, copy the data, cut the data and paste it into a new CSV file, save it and then import it again. Let us know if you then get the same message.

well that did work aside from the error below, why does using an incognito window solve it?

Why do I not have access writes to do this? I am only trying to update the prices.

Hello RichardH,  The original error page suggests that a cache issue, a full clear of the cache and cookies, selecting all time would usually resolve it. As we do have users who do not wish to do that we generally suggest a incognito window as a test to see if it is that as a incognito window does not take into account history of browser use. A standard user would not have some rights relating to adding or editing accounts and quantity on hand. I know your editing price but it may be the accounts that would be impacted.  We'd suggest getting a company admin to upload the changes or asking if your access can be moved to company admin.
