QuickBooks wont let me add a suppliers name, as this business is also a customer. How do I do this?

Welcome to the Community - thank you for your question!

You cannot have a supplier under the same name as a customer - the only way around this would be to name the supplier version of the company something slightly different, i.e. adding a number to the end of their name.
