This is ridiculous, despite several attempts via Chat I still can't get my banks direct feed to sync with my bank account. Takes 2 - 3 days before live data is displayed

I know the importance of getting the bank transactions synced with your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account, @info774. Rest assured that I've got the steps to resolve your banking issue. 

 

The program downloads the latest available transactions every night around 10 PM PT. Also, QBO relies on how the bank communicates with our system. Some may take a little longer depending on your bank, that's why it can take 2 - 3 days before your live data is displayed. 

 

To help fix this, let's manually update your bank account. This refreshes the bank connection within the program. I'll guide you how. 

  1. Go to Banking menu from the left menu.
  2. Select the blue tile for the account. 
  3. Click Update.
  4. If you see a message about additional authentication, follow the onscreen instructions. 
  5. Click Continue update

 

If the update doesn't work, the issue may be on the bank’s end. I'd suggest logging in to your bank's website to check if there are alerts that need your attention, such as new security requirements. When everything looks good, go back to the Banking menu. Then, select the blue tile for the account and click Update. Since the live data is already displayed, all you have to do is approve the way QBO categorises the transactions. Also, you can match them to the existing entries in the software. For more information, visit this article: Assign, Categorise, Edit, and Add Your Downloaded Banking Transactions
