Under Sales, Customers, how do I get the total outstanding to show and not just unpaid last 365 days?

I know how important it is for you to widen the date range of your unpaid sales transactions, info1862. I can give you insights into these details.

The system has a default date range filter of the transactions' statuses from the Sales homepage. It includes your Overdue entries.

While getting the total of your outstanding transactions to show, not just the Unpaid Last 365 days, I recommend running your reports or going through each customer's profile as a workaround.

Here's how:

  1. Click on Sales, then Customers.
  2. Select the customer's name.
  3. Filter following:
    1. Type
    2. Status
    3. Date
  4. Repeat the same steps for other customers.

To pull up your report:

  1. Tap on Reports at the left pane.
  2. Open the Transaction List by Customer report.
  3. Go to the Customize button, then set the Report period to All.
  4. Filter the A/R Paid to Unpaid.
  5. Click on Run Report to refresh the page.

I'm adding these materials for more tips while running your reports in our system:

You may also export your reports to Excel if you need to use them outside QuickBooks.
