Can I use my own SMTP server with QuickBooks Online cloud version?

Hi @fu7,

 

Let me handle this query about SMTP servers for you.

 

QuickBooks Online (QBO) works by using its email servers whenever you send out emails to your customers and suppliers. Currently, there isn't an option to configure or change the email server QBO uses.

 

If you'd like to edit, attach files, and email sales forms to your customers within QuickBooks Online, you can view this article: Email and customise sales form.

Thank you for reply. I checked out the linked article but it’s not what I was looking for. 

 

I appreciate your your confirmation that I cannot set my own SMTP server but this is a deal breaker for me. I cannot send Emails to my customers from Intuit  pretending to be me. This is effectively a spoofed Email and as a responsible IT company, it is exactly the type of Email we tell our customers to be looking out for and to delete. I can hardly start sending them out myself.
