Please explain why there is no autosave function, please don't tell me you understand my frustration, please don't tell me it's being passed on to the development team, please just answer the question...

Why isn't there one?

When will there be one?

This isn't just a time out issue, I'm signed in for the maximum 3 hours, my QBO has just rebooted and lost me nearly 2 hours work on an estimate worth nearly £200k!!

This question was first asked over a year ago looking through the community.

Poor show Quickbooks, poor show....

We're taking notes of your feedback and suggestions, @T-K.

At this time, QuickBooks Online (QBO) doesn't automatically save transactions without clicking the Save or Save and close button. We are considering all suggestions based on the number of requests and their impacts on the user interface before they're rolled out.

I understand how seamless your work will be if this feature is available in QBO. But please know that your voice matters and I'm sending your feedback directly to our product engineers for consideration.

For now, you can visit our blog site so you'll be able to get the latest news about QuickBooks and what our Product Care Team is working on.

I'm always here to listen if you have concerns regarding other features. You're welcome to post again or leave a reply below.
