I can share some information regarding sending your receipts in QuickBooks Online using the digital address, Karen2mk.

Before we begin, may I know if you want to create a custom email address to send your receipts to your company file or if you want to change or add the customer's or vendor's email address so you can send the receipts to them?

If you want to view the receipts from your email or other people's registered email, we can create a custom email address within the Manage forwarding email. Please know that you must be an administrator to do this.

When toggling the sender that you'd like to get permission to forward receipts to this address, please know that any person who has permission can send in receipts.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Transactions menu, then choose Receipts.
  2. Click the Manage forwarding email option.
  3. From the Email address field, enter the name you'd like to use for this address.
  4. Click Next.
  5. Once verified that the account has been set up, we can click the Done button.
  6. Click the Manage forwarding email option once again.
  7. Toggle on the senders that you'd like to get permission to forward receipts to this address.
  8. Click Close once done.
  9. If you haven't set up your users, you can add new users. They’ll appear after they accept your invitation.
  10. When you’re done, select Close.

Afterward, we can forward images of receipts and bills to QuickBooks by taking a picture of your bill or receipt on your mobile device, and ensuring your image or file contains only one receipt. However, please know you can send multiple pictures to your email address.

You can refer to this material to learn how to email your expense receipts and bills to get them into QuickBooks Online.

Once you're done setting up, you can review and categorize the bills into the correct accounts.

If you meant something else, please let us know so we can help you, Karen2mk. We're always around to help you.
