Is There a Separate Desktop App for Intuit Enterprise Suite?

Hi all,

I’m currently using Intuit Enterprise Suite (IES), through my company, which I understand is the more advanced version of QuickBooks Online (QBO) — both being cloud-based products.

When I access IES or QBO through a web browser, it’s clear that I’m using two distinct products:

 

  • The Enterprise Suite interface is branded and labeled accordingly, with additional features and a different layout.

  • The standard QuickBooks Online interface is noticeably simpler and has its own branding.

However, when I use the QuickBooks Online desktop application, the interface looks more like standard QBO — no special Enterprise Suite branding or enhanced features that I see in the browser version of Enterprise.

So my question is:

Is there a separate desktop application specifically for Intuit Enterprise Suite? Or does Enterprise users just use the same QuickBooks Online desktop app as everyone else?

Thanks in advance — just trying to confirm whether I’m missing a more appropriate desktop tool for Enterprise users, or if this is the only one currently available.

To answer your question about whether there is a dedicated desktop app for Intuit Enterprise Suite, there is a support team specifically for Intuit Enterprise (IES) that can provide you with accurate assistance, Pintadrew. I'll walk you through how to reach them.

 

Here's how:

  1. In the product, choose Contact Experts.
  2. Choose Need Product Support, then Contact Us.
  3. You'll see options for Messaging, Making an appointment, or Getting a callback.
  4. To talk to your CSM, you have two choices: Send a message (Note: replies may take a few hours) or Set up a meeting at a time that works for you. 

 

Intuit Enterprise Suite can be seen in the QBO Desktop App because it's built on QBO. However, the app is only for QBO Simple Start, Essentials, Plus, and Advanced users.
