Send Invoices Through Text Message?

While reading through this community, I see a lot of peoples problems with sending their invoices over email. 

1. Their invoice won't send over email

2. The customer cannot find the invoice email

3. Email takes too long to respond to 

 

So my question is, is there any way possible to text messaging to send my invoices? Perhaps attach my invoice document to a text message and send that text message to all applicable customers. 

 

If you've experimented with anything like this, please let me know.

Hi, erikslikkerveer.

 

QuickBooks offers a user-friendly method for sending invoices to your customers. You can send a transaction link via SMS to your customers so they can view their invoices from there.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. On the invoice screen, click the Save and share link.
  2. Click the Copy link button.
  3. You can send the link via SMS to your customers.

Hi!

 

Thanks for the help, I really appreciate it. I do like texting my invoices, but I was also looking for an app that can integrate with QBO and send automated invoices through text message? Anything along those lines

QuickBooks integrates with multiple third-party apps. At this time, you can look a supported one that'll help you achieve your goal through the app center or from the Apps tab.

 

To look for an application using the app store:

 

  1. Open this link: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/app/apps/home.
  2. Set the US as a country/region.
  3. Search for an application from the search field.

 

From the Apps tab:

 

  1. Open your QuickBooks Online account, then go to the Apps tab at the left pane.
  2. Look for an application from the Find Apps column.

Hey there!

 

I've found a great way to send invoices over text. I use MessageDesk.com. This company integrates with QBO and makes it super easy to text invoices and even schedule them. 

 

I get paid faster using MessageDesk especially because clients usually check their texts more frequently than email.

can we send Invoices through sms in Pakistan I have tried zapier but it only supports UK and US only

As previously stated, utilizing the Save and share link option allows you to copy the link of the invoice and send it to your customer by SMS. They can then view the entire contents of their invoice from there. With this, yes, you can deliver invoices through SMS in Pakistan as long as you copy the correct URL to the relevant phone number.

 

Additionally, you can also visit the Apps menu within QBO so you're able to see hundreds of apps that you can integrate into QuickBooks. This way, it'll help you directly send invoices through sms in Pakistan.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. From the left menu, select Apps.
  2. Go to the Find apps tab.
  3. Enter the app name in the search bar or select the Browse category dropdown arrow menu to find a specific app.
  4. Once you find the app, click Get App Now.

Here's how:

 

Go to the Invoices menu at the left pane.
Look for the invoices and click the Send link under the Action column.
Enter the necessary information, and then tap Send when you're ready.

 

Once done, you can copy the link from your email and send them via text message 

 

Alternatively, you can visit our QuickBooks App Center to find a third-party application that can directly send invoices to your customers using text messages or SMS.
