Spreadsheet sync with cloud based Excel?

I’m using QBOA and trying to use spreadsheet sync with either Google Sheets or the cloud based version of Excel. While I can import data from Quickbooks, I can’t edit or add data to the spreadsheet and have it be pushed back into Quickbooks. 

From my research, it seems that I should have the option to “Create or edit records” in the right hand sidebar menu. But I don’t see that option in my sidebar. I’m attaching a screenshot of what my menu looks like.

Google Sheets and cloud-based versions of Excel are currently incompatible with the spreadsheet sync feature, as it is specifically designed for use with Microsoft Excel.

 

If you are encountering issues with the create or edit records option in the sidebar menu. I suggest saving your file, then closing and reopening the spreadsheet sync. Additionally, please check for updates, verify software compatibility, and ensure that you are using the Office 365 edition of Excel, as this is required to access the spreadsheet sync functionality.
