Tags in simple starte plan

I noticed the recently added tags to my Simple Start Plan. I want to confirm that this feature will remain available and usable in bank transactions and reports under my Starter Plan before I start using it. Thank you!

As of now, this feature is available in the Simple Start plan, and you can use it with bank transactions and reports to better categorize your data.

 

However, since QuickBooks occasionally updates features or plan offerings, it’s a good idea to keep an eye on announcements or changes in the plan details. You can check the QuickBooks Product Updates page or reach out directly to QuickBooks Support to confirm the long-term availability of Tags in the Simple Start plan.

 

If you decide to start using Tags, be assured that it’s a flexible feature you can easily integrate into your workflow, and if changes occur in the future, your existing tagged data won’t be lost—it can still be exported or adjusted as needed.

Tags are customizable labels designed to help you track transactions in a way that suits your needs. This feature has been available for some time, so you can rest assured it'll continue to be accessible and functional for bank transactions and reports in your Simple Start plan.

 

I'll leave the steps on how to create a tag so you can start tagging your transactions in QuickBooks:

 

  1. Navigate to the gear icon.
  2. Select Tags under Lists.
  3. Click New and then Tag.
  4. Enter a name for the tag.
  5. Hit Save.
