Woocommerce + QBO connector error: 6000 - Business Validation Error: You must enter the email address for this customer in order to email statements

Woocommerce + QBO connector error:
6000 - Business Validation Error: You must enter the email address for this customer in order to email statements.

 

I verified that the woocommerce customer and the "generic online sale customer" in the OneSaas app and in QBO all have email addresses and I still receive the above error.
