Performing a yearly inventory count using scanners in QuickBooks Desktop involves several steps, Brita2. Let me guide you through the process.

Utilizing a mobile scanner for Cycle Count can streamline the process and reduce the time needed to maintain accurate inventory information.

Here are the steps:

  1. Navigate to the Inventory section and choose Cycle Count.
  2. Initiate a new cycle count by selecting Create new cycle count.
  3. If necessary, choose the Site.
  4. Click on Find & Select Items, then utilize the Find option to locate the items for the cycle count.
  5. Check the box next to the items you wish to count, and then click on Add Selected Items.
  6. Assign to a specific person if desired.

Start a cycle count by utilizing a mobile inventory device. Follow these steps:

  1. Choose the option to Send to device.
  2. The warehouse person will locate the item and bin for each line and scan the items, continuing until all items have been counted.
  3. Next, select Send to QuickBooks, and the counts will appear on your dashboard.
