Adhoc payruns in QBO basic payroll

Can someone outline the process to run an adhoc run in QBO basic payroll. I have a client who underpaid an employee and needs to process a few additional hours. My suggestion was to have her run an adhoc payrun to pay out the additional funds but want to provide her with step by step instructions. Can anyone help?

Making sure your employees are paid accurately is key when running a business. I can help point you in the right direction for this.

 

QuickBooks Online makes running your payroll easy by doing the calculations for you based on what is entered. At this time there is no automated way to set up and run an off cycle payroll. If you wish to make this entry you'd need to re-run the payroll again with the correct balances or enter it as a bonus. If the employee was already paid and the amount deposited I recommend reaching out to an accountant to get this entry made. If you don't have an accountant of your own you can go to My Accountant>Find a pro to help in your QuickBooks Online account to find one that can help.
