Bulk Edit Pay Rates

Is there still no way to bulk edit pay rates in QB Online Payroll? I have seen people asking about this for years and I know I have submitted many feedback tickets about it but nothing is changing. The employee info page is constantly changing but the recent changes are terrible and now adding an employee takes far more time, and things that would be useful such as this are not being addressed/added. Unless I am missing something?

Hi there chelseak19,

 

It's vital that all your employees be set up properly so that you can pay them the right amount. QuickBooks Online Payroll is a great tool able to help you calculate the amount of deductions on the payroll in order to show you the amounts owed to the government. I can provide some information about editing employees.

 

In order to be able to update the pay rate for employees, it would need to be done for each employee individually. I can see that being able to do this in bulk would be a feature that would help you save time with managing your employees. I also appreciate that you've submitted feedback. Comments in the feedback section are considered when designing new features for QuickBooks Online. I'll pass along your feedback about the current interface of the Employees tab as well as your suggestion for being able to edit the pay rate for multiple employees at once.
