can I delete pay types

Hi accounting-ontar,

It's a pleasure to see you in Community.  QuickBooks Online Payroll provides the option to add, edit, or apply pay types to your employees. However you can remove specific pay types from your employee profiles.  I'd be happy to show you how! 

Here's how to edit payroll items;

1. From the left menu, open Payroll then Employees 

2. Select the employee 

3. Scroll down to Pay types and hit Edit 

4. Remove the checkmark for the pay type

The pay type will be removed for the employee, when running payroll.
