Can I delete the payroll EI deduction for a business owner?

In order to delete a deduction in QuickBooks, please follow the steps below: 

 

  1. Navigate to the Employee tab.
  2. Select the employee that you want to make the change for, and click the Pencil Icon next to Pay in the first column.
  3. Scroll down to the deductions section and click on the trash can icon to delete the deduction from the employee.
  4. Click Yes and Done.
