Can I revise a Record of Employment in Quickbooks Online Payroll?

We have terminated some employees but have not paid accrued PTO, pay in lieu, or severance. The ROE is now due. Can we issue the ROE and then revise in QBO Payroll when payments are made?

Thanks for messaging us here. QuickBooks makes it easy to generate ROEs and I'll be happy to show you how.

 

In order to generate the ROE, I recommend checking out the following helpful steps provided in this article: Create a Record of Employment (ROE) in QuickBooks Online. In case you need to pay the employee in question, it's important to note that you'd have to re-activate them first, process the payroll, then make them inactive again.
