Can I standardize the memo field in the payroll stubs?

We would like to add a special comment in the memo area of the pay stubs for some of our employees. Instead of typing it in for each one, can we set it up so that these employees have this information for each pay?

I appreciate you for reaching out to us here in the Community, @hce. I can share with you some insights about preparing payroll stubs in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

Setting up the memos to your employees' profiles is currently unavailable. As of now, you need to enter the details when preparing the payroll stubs. 
 

I can see the importance of adding the information to their profiles to add them to their pays automatically, rest assured our engineers are working nonstop to enhance the product and deliver the best experiences for all QuickBooks users. For now, you can send feedback through your QBO account to let them know about the feature needed.
 

Here's how:

 

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks.
  2. Go to the Gear icon at the top, then Feedback.
  3. Enter your comments or product suggestions. Then select Next to submit feedback.

 

Your valuable feedback goes to our Product Development Team to help improve your experience in QBO.

Additionally, you may invite your employees to get their pay stubs online through QuickBooks Workforce.
