Can't change banking info for my employees, I get the error: You can't change the bank info right now because there are pending, unprocessed direct deposit pay cheques.

Why am I getting this error: You can't change the bank info right now because there are pending, unprocessed direct deposit pay cheques. Payment was last month.

Welcome to Community!  Having the ability to edit your employee's information as needed is an asset for keeping payroll up to date, and ensuring they can access their paystubs online.  With QuickBooks Online Payroll, the error you've described, isn't in relation to your monthly payment for payroll.   This message indicates that there's a pending payroll  that's been submitted for an upcoming pay date and it's currently being processed for direct deposit in their accounts.  Rest assured, once the pay date has arrived and they've received their pay stubs, you'll be able to edit the emails for your employees and send an updated invitation to workforce.
