Welcome to the community! Sales taxes are an important part of a business, and QuickBooks Online is designed with the perfect tracking system for these. I'll be happy to help you complete the setup in your account.

To turn on sales tax in QuickBooks Online is a pretty straightforward process.

1. Go to the Taxes menu on your left. 
2. Select Set up sales tax.
3. Choose your Province or territory from the dropdown, then Save.
4. Complete the setup by indicating the Start of tax period, Filing frequency and Reporting method.
5. The GST/HST number field is optional to proceed, but feel free to include one if you have.
6. When ready, select Done.

And that's it! QuickBooks will automatically create a list of common sales tax code for you based on where your company is located, and you'll be able to add the proper tax code to your transactions via the Sales Tax column on your forms.
