Question

Can you change the payroll settings in QBO so the pay cheques are paid out of one account and the payroll liabilities are paid out of a different account?

Welcome to Community!  Thank you for choosing QuickBooks Online Payroll.  You can manage your payroll accounts at any time from the payroll settings.  I'd be glad to assist!

 

To edit the mapping for payroll follow these steps:

 

1. Click on the Gear in the top right of your dashboard

2. Select Payroll Settings

3. Under Preferences, choose Accounting 

4. Edit your Wage Expense Accounts

5. Review any changes you've made

6. When done, click Ok
