Question

Considering CRA requires employers to disclose gross payroll for a period, why doesn't the QB "Payroll Tax Centre" show this amount? Where can I easily find this info?

Welcome to Community!  QuickBooks Online Payroll is a dynamic way to pay your staff with confidence.  In addition, you can access associated payroll forms as needed.  I'd be glad to help!

 

When it comes to the CRA and monthly payroll amounts, you'll see all of the required elements on the PD7A form.  Here's how to locate it;

 

1. From the left menu, open Taxes, then Payroll tax

2. Click on the Payments tab

3. Scroll down and select Remittance Forms (monthly)

4. Hit PD7A

5. Use the ▼ dropdown to Select the tax period

6. Click View

Your PD7A will open in a new tab.  In addition, there are multiple payroll reports that can be customized.  Just select Reports from the left menu and scroll down to the Payroll section.
