Does quickbooks automatically try to connect to bank accounts at a pre-determined time? I recieved a sign-in attempt authorization at 5 am but can't tell who it is.

It's important that all your transactions are correctly entered for your books to be well balanced. QuickBooks Online is a great tool able to connect to various banks' websites to import transactions in order to help save you time with data entry. I can provide some information about bank connections.

If you connected your bank to QuickBooks Online to import transactions so you can categorize them into your books, there isn't a specific schedule for when QuickBooks will attempt to import new transactions. If you haven't yet connected your bank to QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Online wouldn't be the one trying to connect to the bank.
