Question

Entered new employee in weekly timesheets, went to payroll, empl didn't show so added again, doing timesheets 2 of the same empl shows up but 1 in payroll.

How can I find the original entry to delete it? It does not show up in payroll.

Welcome to the Community. It's essential that you enter your employee correctly to keep your account up to date. QuickBooks Online is a flexible program that simplifies the way you manage your books. I encourage you to verify if the original employee is in the system. You can click on the Gear icon > select Manage users.

 

If the original employee is not listed, I recommand that you contact our customer support team. They will be able to provide you with real-time assistance on this.

  • Schedule a Callback or start a Chat: click (?)Help in the upper right in QuickBooks Online > type and enter "Contact support" into the QB Assistant > click Contact Us > explain your situation > click Let's Talk > choose Get a callback or Start a Chat.
  • Social MediaFacebookTwitter, and Instagram. Support hours are from Monday to Friday between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. ET
