Entered wrong hours into paycheck whcih is already processed

Welcome to Community!  QuickBooks offers a dynamic payroll module that allows you to pay your staff seamlessly.  When information isn't quite right and the employee has been paid, we've got you covered.  I'd be happy to provide more information so you're on the right path!

If you've overpaid the employee you can deduct the amount of hours from the next pay.  When an underpayment has been made, you can run payroll for the employee to make up for the difference.  Here's how:

1. Go to Payroll from the left menu and then Employees

2. Click Run Payroll

3. Select the Pay Period and Pay Date

3. Check the box next to the employee

4. In the Pay Method column, change Direct Deposit to Paper Cheque

5. Enter the Hours to be paid

6. Preview Payroll and then Submit

7. Print the Pay stub and enter the Cheque number 

8. Hit Finish Payroll
