Hello...processing a ROE but only 25 pay periods are recorded on the form and CRA requires 27

Processing ROE forms for your employees is an essential task for any small business owner. I know how vital it is that this form is filled out correctly and accurately for Service Canada. I'd be happy to explain what may be happening and what steps you should take moving forward. 

ROE's will report the most recent year of payroll history. Depending on your payroll frequency, it's possible that you may not have 27 pay cycles recorded in QuickBooks Online. 

Ensure you've adjusted your date range when filing the ROE with Service Canada. The start date should be the first day of your pay cycle within the QBO product, and the end date should be the last day of your pay cycle. 

Keep in mind that QuickBooks Online can only provide information from when you began using Payroll within the system, and it doesn't account for any payroll information from other products.
