Hello userkoel,

It sounds like you've already been using QuickBooks Online Payroll to manage your business's payroll data, which is awesome. I hope that the module has enhanced the bookkeeping process for you, and you have a great question about how it handles the payroll taxes. I can explain.

QuickBooks Online Payroll offers you the ability to run and track your payroll information with confidence. Because the program automatically loads new information like payroll tax tables, you can be sure that the program has the right calculations for you. With those calculations, you can then record the payroll tax filings and payments in your books, as outlined here: Payroll taxes and forms

The way that the program handles this information is by making the calculations for you, however, it doesn't make the payments for you outside of the program, even when you log and click to record payments. This means taking the information generated by QuickBooks to file and pay the taxes on our own since the program doesn't do it on your behalf. If you were expecting the program to automatically do it for you, that's why you're not seeing the transaction in your bank feed and I recommend filing and making the payments to the CRA as quickly as possible.

Feel free to check out the QuickBooks Online Payroll help article hub to learn more about what the Payroll module has to offer. That way, you can stay on top of your work.

As for an automated feature for submitting and paying payroll taxes through the program, I can definitely see how that would be useful for a business. It's a great opportunity to leave feedback, which you can do via these steps: How do I submit feedback?

Feel free to ask more questions is you have them. Take care!
