HOT TO DELETE A PAYMENT OF THE PAYROLL TAX

I've made my monthly payment of the payroll tax to the Government.  By mistake I put the wrong payment date.  Instead of March 2023 I put March 2024.  I want to delete that payment and make it again.  Impossible to find how to do it?

Hello stephan2,

 

QuickBooks Online enables you to delete a payroll tax payment, so you can recreate it, with the appropriate information, as necessary.  Please be advised that making changes to any transactions that have been reconciled, can have a negative impact on your books.  For this reason, I suggest speaking with an accounting professional for their expertise and best course of action.  If you don't have an accountant, we can help you locate a ProAdvisor in your local area.
