Hi there, Renee. I can share with you some information on how to set up a taxable benefit to appear on T4.

 

In QuickBooks Online (QBO), you'll be able to add taxable benefits for T4s through your employee's profile.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Sign in to your QBO account.
  2. Click on Payroll at the left pane, then select Employees.
  3. Tap on the employee's name you wish to edit.
  4. Select the edit icon next to Pay.
  5. Go to the deductions/contributions section, then click on the edit icon.
  6. Select the tax benefit you wish to create from the drop-down menu.
  7. Fill in the details, then follow the onscreen instructions to complete the process.

 

Then, use that item when running payroll.
