How can I add electronic time sheets and payroll to my app

You have to purchase the add-ons or use a 3rd party app to integrate with your QBO account. Which one do you prefer?

Welcome, and thanks for joining us here in the QuickBooks Community. I'm glad to see you're exploring the options when using QuickBooks Online, including what's available to you when using the app. I suspect that you're using the mobile app, and this is where you're looking for the option to add time sheets and payroll. I'd be happy to go over this with you.

QuickBooks Online's mobile app is geared for on-the-go work, including invoicing, expensing, and some other features. There are, however, limitations to which features you can work with in the app. In order to work with QuickBooks Online Payroll and the program's time sheet features, you'll need to be working in a browser. While you're welcome to try working in a mobile browser, a computer browser is often more easily navigated and more effective.

If you haven't yet, to log into QuickBooks Online via a browser, simply go to qbo.ca, hover over Sign In, choose QuickBooks Online, and then enter your same login credentials that you use for the app. There, you'll see the Payroll tab to the right where you can start a Payroll subscription or continue with your pay runs.
