How can I change my payroll tax account?

Thanks for reaching out.  Welcome!  It's great to hear that you're using QuickBooks Online Payroll to pay your staff and your remittance with confidence.  Making changes to the accounts can be done seamlessly in a few simple steps.  I'll gladly show you how!

To map the account for your federal taxes, follow these steps:

1. Click on the Gear in the top right and select Payroll settings

2. From the Preferences section, open Accounting

3. Scroll to Tax Liability Accounts and use the ▼ dropdown to select the appropriate account

4. When finished, hit OK to save
