How can I delete a paystub from the register after it is deleted? Trying to fix old errors and cannot get the amount out of the register affecting the account balance.

The paystub is incorrect, and not paid out of the account I am trying to fix. These are errors that began long ago before I started working with this person, and I am doing a deep cleanup of 2020 so we can start cleanup of 2021. Do I need an accountant to delete it out of the account?

Having the right transactions entered is the key to having the correct balances in your accounts. I'd be happy to help point you in the right direction for this.

 

Once a paystub is deleted from your QuickBooks account it should remove from your register as well. This could still be showing due to corruption or damaged cache and cookies in your internet browser. I recommend clearing your cache and cookies by following this article. Once you clear cache and cookies you should open QuickBooks Online again in a private browser such as Google Chromes Incognito mode.
