Here is what you can do;

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Payroll Settings.

How do I fix all the payroll that came out of cash on hand yet came out of checking account in quickbooks online?  Cash on hand has very big negative balance and it should be at zero?

Hello gatzke_admin. Thanks for chiming in on this thread. Based on what you've described, I recommend reaching out to an accounting professional for expert advice on how to deal with the particular transaction. If you're not in contact with a professional, don't worry, you can search for one using this link here. In case you decide to use journal entries, here's a helpful article that provides more info about creating journal entries in QuickBooks.

I'll also leave this question open in the Community so other accountant users can share their advice. Otherwise, feel free to ask other questions, I've got your back.
