How can I run payroll again after our account has been put on hold due to insufficient funds

Hi there trudybraun23-gma,

 

It's important that your payroll transactions are properly entered for your books to be well balanced. QuickBooks Online is a great tool able to help calculate the payroll for your employees based on the hours worked. I can point you in the right direction for assistance with payroll holds due to an NSF for direct deposit.

 

During a payroll hold due to an NSF, payroll can't be run in the system. For assistance with the hold itself, you'd need to reach out to the QuickBooks Online support team outside of the Community. They'll be able to verify your account in the system and provide some information on the hold and if steps are required to get it resolved. You can reach them using these steps:

 

Schedule a Callback or start a Chat: click (?)Help in the upper right > type and enter "Contact support" into the QB Assistant > click Contact Us > explain your situation > click Let's Talk > choose Get a callback or Start a Chat.
