How can I update my payroll account?

It's awesome that you're working with the Payroll module in QuickBooks Online. Not only is it a great tool for keeping your payroll and regular business bookkeeping all in one place, but this tool can also make other payroll tasks easy such as handling payroll forms, remittances, and other such tasks. I'd be happy to help you make sure that you're able to update your account and use this system.

In this case, knowing exactly what you mean when you say you'd like to update your payroll account would be helpful. For instance, if you mean you'd like to manage your subscription, you can do that sort of thing by heading into your account settings. Here are the steps.

1. Select the Gear icon.
2. Choose Account and settings.
3. Click Billing and subscription.

On that tab, you'll see the option for where you can manage your regular and payroll subscriptions for QuickBooks Online. Keep in mind that in order to have a Payroll subscription, you'll also need a QuickBooks Online subscription.

If by update your payroll you mean you'd like to update your Payroll Settings, that's also something you can access via the Gear icon.
