I need to correct two employees deductions that is over six months old by issuing new pay cheques with the corrected deductions. Quickbooks won't allow me to make new paycheques past 6 months old. Is there a way to do this?

Hi there hansonfarmsltd,

It's important that all payroll transactions be correctly entered for your books to be well balanced. QuickBooks Online Payroll is a great tool able to help you keep track of employees' pay to know their totals for year-end forms. I can point you in the right direction to enter this payroll.

Within QuickBooks Online Payroll, it isn't possible to enter pay older than six months in the past. In order to have this entered, you'd need to reach out to the QuickBooks Online support team outside of the Community in order to enter a payroll edit request. They'll be able to send you the necessary information so that the information can be sent to the pay edits team to have this entered into your books. You can reach them using these steps:

Schedule a Callback or start a Chat: click (?)Help in the upper right > type and enter "Contact support" into the QB Assistant > click Contact Us > explain your situation > click Let's Talk > choose Get a callback or Start a Chat.

If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out here.
