How do i add day rate rather than hourly or commission

To get started, it's essential to note that the pay types available in QuickBooks are Salary, Hourly, and Commission. If you'd like to change or edit an employee's pay type to Salary, please check out the steps below:

 

  1. Go to Payroll, then Employees.
  2. Select your employee.
  3. From Pay types, select Start or Edit.
  4. Select the pay types you want to add or edit.
  5. Make sure your changes are saved after.
