How do I add historical YTD amounts to an employee after payroll has been run?
I switched a client from Ceridian to QuickBooks Online Standard Payroll mid-year.
Some of the employees had been terminated but had been paid in 2020. I want to enter these employees into QuickBooks so that I can generate all the required T4's for 2020.
However, I had only entered the current employees into QuickBooks and processed the first payroll run. Now when I add the old employees, I cannot enter the historical data for these employees.
Is it possible to add these old employees and their historical data without affecting the G/L?
Or am I going to have to do their T4's and the T4 summary manually for 2020?
