How do I change date that cheque was issued to employee?

Welcome to the Community! It's great to see that you're using QuickBooks Online Payroll to keep all of your business activities organized in one place. I'd be happy to clarify how to adjust the date on an employee's cheque. 

It's possible to change the date of a paycheque issued to an employee by deleting the original cheque and then re-running it through the Payroll module. As long as this payroll was processed as a paper cheque and not direct deposit, it won't be time sensitive. When you have a direct deposit pay run, keeping the direct deposit status in mind is important. There's a certain point in the process when you won't be able to delete the cheque anymore, and the program will prompt you with a message when you try to delete beyond that point. With that being said, here's how to delete a paycheque:

• Go to Employees.
• Under the Run payroll button, select Pay cheque list.
• Select the cheque to delete and click Delete.
• When prompted to confirm the action, select Yes or No.

To learn more about this, check this article here. Once you've finished deleting the cheque, you can then go to Run Payroll and process this person's pay with the correct date.
