How do I change the actual payroll dates in QBO. The employees are hourly but are paid twice a month (15th and end of month) so a straight 2 week schedule doesn't work.

With QuickBooks Online Payroll, you have the option to chose between various pay types, or you can create a pay type that best fits your business needs.. Let me show you how:

1. Head to the "Payroll" tab and click on "Employees"
2. Scroll down until you see, "Employee details" then click "Edit"
3. Click the pencil icon for  the "Pay schedule" section
4. Using the dropdown arrow under "Pay frequency"  choose "Twice a month"
5. Toggle on the "Custom schedule" under "Twice a month"
6. Enter the desired dates the Save.
