How do I change the tax liability accounts to ones in my chart of accounts?

The QBO Payroll App appears to accept my choice of payroll tax liability accounts when I Save, but the distribution always remains the system default, which is unacceptable to me.

The  function you've described above isn't available as the default account cannot be changed. I can see the benefit of having this function and I encourage you to send feedback about this to our engineers. You can send feedback by clicking on the Gear icon and looking for Feedback.
