How do I fix this issue with my Federal taxes electronic payment setup?

When I try to make a payment from the online Payroll Taxes screen, I get this error - "This payment will NOT be made electronically because the enrollment process isn't complete. Check your E-Services status"

Hey there mgb@perfectminut,

 

Welcome to the QuickBooks Community! Thanks for reaching out to us here. Before you're able to make a payment, you'll need to make sure the E-pay feature is completely setup. I recommend checking your email to see if additional info was required in order to finish the setup. Once you have correctly finished setting up E-pay, you'll receive an email notification.

 

 If you require further assistance, I encourage you to reach out to the support team outside of the Community. They'll be able to verify your account details in a secure setting, as well as view your screen to better assist you. You can reach them by following one of these methods:

 

Schedule a Callback or start a Chat: click (?)Help in the upper right > type and enter "Contact support" into the QB Assistant > click Contact Us > explain your situation > click Let's Talk > choose Get a callback or Start a Chat.
