How do I get a vacation pay list per employee at year end?

Hi gailppgc-gmail-c,

 

Welcome to Community!  QuickBooks Online Payroll is a great program to ensure the contributions, deductions and remittances are calculated accurately.  I'll be happy to provide more information so your able to view the year end vacation accrual.

 

One report that you can view is the Vacation and Sick leave report.  You'll have the option to choose a specific employee or all employees to see how much was paid in 2021.  It doesn't show how much is accrued, only how much the employees were actually paid.  You'd be best to review the paystub at the end of the year to see how much was accrued.  

 

To view the pay cheque history, follow these steps:

 

1. Select Payroll from the left menu and then Employees

2. Click Pay cheque list under Run payroll

3. Select the Pay Cheque to open it

3. Scroll to the bottom to review the Amount accrued.

Thanks for this detailed steps.  

 

Is there a way to get a Report for a specific time period, say at Year end ( a Dec 31), instead of a current YTD Balance?  Also, there is a way to get a Report with all staff, instead of going into each individual employee's paycheque details?

    QuickBooks gives you the option to Customize/filter reports to what you need. In this article, you'll see a list of available Payroll reports that you can chose from.
