How do I make a person exempt from Employment Insurance?

1.  Go to Payroll.

2.  Choose Employee from list.

3.  Click on Edit Employee.

4.  Go to section 2 - What are Employee's tax withholdings?

5.  Click on the edit pencil in section 2.

6.  Top section has TD1 information.  Scroll down to a fly-out heading called 'Tax Exemptions'.

7.  Choose either CPP or EI in answer to the question 'Which taxes does Employee NOT pay?

That should do it :)
