How do I pay a terminated employee for an after-termination stat holiday? I know how to calculate the amount, just not sure how I should create the cheque

You've reached the right place for help. QuickBooks makes it easy to create a final pay cheque and I'll be happy to show you how. 

 

To do this, you'll need to create a pay cheque the same as you would normally. It's good you're able to calculate the amounts because if the employee was paid on salary, you'll need to manually calculate the pay and enter it on the cheque. Since the employee has been terminated already, you'll need to reactivate the employee and process the pay cheque as you normally would.
