How do I set up Commission employees for tax deductions?

In the process of migrating from desktop to online. all regular salary employees look good but commission only employees have no tax deductions? how do I set that up?

Hi there barb75,

 

It's important that all your employees are set up correctly for their pay to be accurate. QuickBooks Online Payroll is a great tool able to help you calculate pay, deductions and contributions based on hours, salary or commission. I can point you in the right direction for assistance with deductions not calculating.

 

For assistance with deductions not calculating correctly or at all, I recommend reaching out to the Support team outside of the Community. They'll be able to view the pay in the system with you in a secure setting to see what is going on with the calculation so that it can be modified to be the right amount. You can reach them using these options:

 

Schedule a Callback or start a Chat: click (?)Help in the upper right > type and enter "Contact support" into the QB Assistant > click Contact Us > explain your situation > click Let's Talk > choose Get a callback or Start a Chat.
