Hi, @Clineham. I'll guide you on how to set up payroll for employees that are paid per job.

First, you can create an additional earning type from the employee's profile so you can use it when running his or her paycheck.

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks.
  2. Click on Employees or Payroll at the left pane, then go to the Employees section.
  3. Tap on the employee's name.
  4. Go to the number 4 How much do you pay Angel? section.
  5. Click on the Additional pay types pencil icon, then select the +Another Other Earnings type link to add the new payment type.
  6. Enter the name, then hit OK.
  7. Repeat the same steps for other employees.

Once done, add the rate on the pay type created when running your employees' paychecks.
