Delete a recent pay run
Best answer by JamesM4

Hello calcul8tor,

Sometimes it's necessary to undo a recent pay run and I'll be glad to point you in the right direction. QuickBooks Online offers a versatile payroll module that makes it simple for you to manage your payroll. I'll be glad to point you in the right direction so you can get back to doing what you enjoy.

In order to delete the pay run, you'll have to delete the paycheques, and here's how:

  1. Navigate to Employees.
  2. Under the Run payroll button, click on the Paycheque list.
  3. Choose the cheque(s) to delete and click Delete.
  4. Select Yes or No.

It's essential to note that you cannot undo a cheque deletion. I highly encourage you to check out this article here as it provides more info about deleting the paycheques and recreating them if you need to.

Try this out and let me know if this info helps. I'll be a message away in case you need additional support with your payroll. Otherwise, enjoy the rest of your day!
