How do you edit a T4

Welcome to the QuickBooks Communtiy. I'm happy to hear that you're using QuickBooks Online Payroll to pay your employees and make tracking your payroll taxes so much easier. I know that sometimes mistakes can happen, and it's necessary to make adjustments to your T4 slips. Let me point you in the right direction to get that done.

There isn't a way for you to edit your T4 slips within QuickBooks Online Payroll. If you need to make a change, you'll need to reach out to our team of customer support experts outside of the Community so that they can assist you with making the change. They'll collect some account details, send you a form via email, and once you send the completed form back they'll escalate it to the correct team so that the changes can be made in your account. Right now the wait time for seeing these changes is up to a minimum of 20 business days due to the high volume of requests that are being made this time of year.

If you're able to make the adjustment manually when you remit to the CRA, I suggest doing that so you won't have to wait for the edits. If you do want to get in touch so you can request the changes, here's how:

Phone: Call us at 1-855-253-1536 from Monday to Friday between the hours of 9 AM and 8 PM EST.
Schedule a Callback or start a Chat: click (?)Help in the upper right > type and enter "Contact support" into the QB Assistant > click Contact Us > explain your situation > click Let's Talk > choose Get a callback or Start a Chat.
